Climb To The Clouds - Climb To The Clouds - On June 28-30 Bimmerfesters will meet for our fifth annual meet and tour of the White Mountains of New Hampshire! Each year we raise money for a charity and this year we will be raising money for Survive the Drive which has been chosen as the official charity for future Climbs as well. The "high point" of the event on Saturday, June 29th will be a drive to the summit of the highest peak in the northeast on the Mount Washington Auto Road (MWAR) - it's the "Climb To The Clouds!" It is possibly the most intense drive opportunity east of Pikes Peak. Braving a seven mile long, steeply twisting road without guardrails, with spectacular views in occasionally very challenging weather will be an adventure you will not soon forget. Along the way we'll cross a covered bridge, possibly dodge a moose or two, tour the 34.5 mile Kancamagus Highway (a US Scenic Byway) and experience Bear Notch Road - the condensed "Dragon's Tail" of New Hampshire. We'll wrap it up with old and new friends meeting for a banquet and auction at the Woodstock Inn Station and Brewery which has undergone major expansion and renovation with an all new banquet room downstairs.
