Fernando's career brought him to Kansas City, Missouri where he worked as the National Sales Training Manager for ERA Realty, followed by careers with Sprint as manager for Performance Improvement, National Sales and IBM Global Business Services, National Sales Team before retiring in 2005.Fernando raced in the SCCA for 14 years and is presently an instructor with the Skip Barber Racing School. In addition, Fernando is a member of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary, Fort Myers-Cape Coral, Florida.
